The Power of Herbs
Herbs are wonderful plants used for many things such as food, fragrances, flavoring, and medicine. I use herbs daily for aroma, food, as well as, medicine. For the medicine aspect of herbs, one of the ways I use them is to help me with my allergies. I take a combination of a few herbs that help me battle the sniffles and the “throat clearing” that takes hold each allergy season. I also have been using herbs to assist me in releasing toxins in my kidneys and pancreas. I have a wonderful friend named Lisa, who I call the “alchemist.” Her company is called Eagles Moon Healing. She assists me in making me a batch of a special blend of tea just for me. Lisa is amazing at being able to see through your body (Medical Intuitive) and know what areas in the body that are inflamed. This can be done in person with her or remotely over the phone! She just allows Spirit to guide her, to see the areas that need assistance. From this, Lisa can figure out what herbs she can put in the blend of tea that you need. Once you get your bag of the special blend of tea, you measure out the portion stated and boil it for 10 minutes. After this you let it sit, overnight being the best, and re-boil it for 20 minutes the next day. You then let it cool and put it in a glass container in the refrigerator. You drink the tea on an empty stomach 2 times a day. Now I have been doing this for a few weeks and I must say, I have been feeling so much better. I have been flushing out the toxins that have been “gunking” me up! Not only has it made me feel better, but I love drinking the tea too! The tea tastes good as you can taste all the flavors of the different herbs that she uses in the tea. Another way I use herbs is that Lisa makes “tinctures” for areas of your body that need healing too. A tincture is the extract of the herbs that is put in alcohol or vinegar. I use a liver tincture that has vinegar, as I am allergic to alcohol. I take the dropper of the tincture formula and swallow that each day as well. This is another great way to still use your herbs if you must travel and cannot bring your tea! So, if you have been feeling out of sorts and need to clean and detox the body, give Lisa a call to help you! Tell her I referred you! She is a fabulous alchemist and can help you boost your health too!

Angel Card Readings.
Melody and I are Certified Angel Card Readers; let me explain how this differs from Tarot; aside from using cards the similarity ends. Tarot cards are a very definitive type of divination, based on metaphysical concepts such as alchemy, esoteric symbols, and numerology. Angel cards, on the other hand, rely on channeled information from the etheric realms. The reading is produced by the interaction of energies of the seeker and the response of the angels, guides, and loved ones to your questions.
When an Angel Card Reading is taking place we ask for the Angels, to step in and help with the reading, messages are from Guardian Angels, Spirit Guides, and deceased love ones, if the person asking the questions wants to know about their personal angel(s) that is a great question to start at, maybe you would like to know your guardian angel, yes we all have them. Life purpose is another question that is asked often. Sometimes the question is a decision that needs to be made. When we are doing an Angel Card Reading only the highest and best intentions come through, angels, guides, and loved ones are wonderful at helping with guidance as long as you ask them to help.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call or text!
Call us at 470-333-2443 for your appointment for a reading. We look forward in serving you!
The History of Essiac Tea
Essiac Tea is said to have been an Ancient recipe made by the Ojibwa Tribes of Native America who live in the areas of Canada and Northern United States of America. Essiac Tea was referred to as “Ojibwa Tea of Life”.
The story I have heard about Nurse Caisse and Essiac Tea, is that she aided the Ojibwa Tribe, they all became friends and she helped with their illnesses. She also saw the remarkable things that the “Tea of Life” did. The Ojibwa Tribe shared this with her, and the recipe of “Tea of Life”. Rene Caisse brought it to her patients that were suffering from various types of cancer. This tea is now called Essiac Tea, (Essiac is “Caisse” spelled backwards).
Nurse Caisse began to see wonderful results with her patient and she wanted to help more people. She wanted to make the “Tea of Life” more accessible to everyone. She had a vision to make the tea available to as big an audience as she could.
In 1920 she began to work with Dr. Charles Brusch. They wanted to formulate an herbal product that could be tested in a laboratory study (think clinical research). Dr. Brusch and Caisse began to promote Essiac Tea as an effective and affordable cancer treatment. Well, all this promotion caught the attention of the medical population as well as the mainstream population… The medical profession didn’t like that they were offering this alternative to standard cancer treatments, so rumors started to circulate about health risks, and what MIGHT happen if you consumed Essiac Tea. The medical community put pressure on the Federal Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA did not approve Essiac Tea as a cancer treatment. In fact, as of today they have not recognized Essiac Tea and they do not recognize it as safe. This did not stop Dr. Brusch and Caisse; they continued to help people and had thousands of testimonials of how Essiac tea helped them. This is amazing because in 1938 there was only mail, no internet.
Nurse Caisse was a modest person and took no money for Essiac tea formula; she was all about the help. Please check out, do your own research to see if this tea will help you. I do have a few cautions: if you are pregnant … wait to try this tea. Please do your research.
I will post my story about Essiac tea.. what it has done for me. This is my opinion…

Ash Wednesday is one of the most popular and important holy days in the liturgical calendar.
Ash Wednesday opens Lent, a season of fasting and prayer.
Ash Wednesday takes place 46 days before Easter Sunday, and is chiefly observed by Catholics, although many other Christians observe it too.
Ash Wednesday comes from the ancient Jewish tradition of penance and fasting. The practice includes the wearing of ashes on the head. The ashes symbolize the dust from which God made us. As the priest applies the ashes to a person’s forehead, he speaks the words: “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”
Alternatively, the priest may speak the words, “Repent and believe in the Gospel.”
Ashes also symbolize grief, in this case, grief that we have sinned and caused division from God.
Writings from the Second-century Church refer to the wearing of ashes as a sign of penance.
Priests administer ashes during Mass and all are invited to accept the ashes as a visible symbol of penance. Even non-Christians and the excommunicated are welcome to receive the ashes. The ashes are made from blessed palm branches, taken from the previous year’s palm Sunday Mass.
Spiritually, I view it as a reminder from God or the Divine about being a Soul on this earth living a physical life. We are all here to learn life’s lessons as they are presented to us and go about fulfilling our life purpose. This period of Ash Wednesday through Easter is a tine for reflection, prayer and meditation. Are you learning the lessons that life presents to you? Do you seem to have situations where you’re presented with the same basic situations over and over again? What choices could you make differently?
We all have a limited time on this planet. Let us make the best choices we can and lead with our hearts and not our heads. I believe that “ashes to ashes, dust to dust” refers to our physical bodies. When the body gives out, our Souls will all be welcomed back by God!
